New York, NY (Sports Network) - Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and NBA MVP Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers highlight the 2007-08 NBA All-Defensive Teams.

Garnett is making his ninth appearance on the All-Defensive Team, while Bryant was honored for the eighth time. Both players received 52 points overall, including 24 first-place nods.

Spurs forward Tim Duncan, making his 11th consecutive appearance, joins Garnett and Bryant on the first team, along with teammate Bruce Bowen and last year's Defensive Player of the Year, Denver Nuggets center Marcus Camby.

The NBA All-Defensive Second Team consists of Houston forward Shane Battier, guard Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets, Orlando center Dwight Howard, Detroit forward Tayshaun Prince and Phoenix guard Raja Bell.

The voting panel consisted of the league's 30 head coaches, who were asked to pick NBA All-Defensive First and Second Teams by position. The coaches were not permitted to vote for players from their own club.
