New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NBA held random draft drawings Friday to break ties among teams that finished the 2007-08 regular season with identical records.

The drawings were held to help determine the order of selection for the June 26 draft.

There were two tiebreakers conducted for teams that are in the lottery. Minnesota (22-60) won a tiebreaker with Memphis in teams between the third- worst marks, while the New York Knicks (23-59) won one with the Los Angeles Clippers between the fifth-worst records in the league.

The draft lottery, which will determine the top three picks, will be held on Tuesday, May 20. The remainder of the lottery teams will select in positions four through 14 in inverse order of their regular season records.

In two tiebreakers involving playoff teams, Phoenix (55-27) beat Houston, and San Antonio (56-26) won versus New Orleans.

The Miami Heat, by virtue of their 15-67 record, have the best chance at winning the draft lottery at 25 percent and landing the No. 1 pick. Seattle is second at 19.9 percent.
