Yankee Stadium is the place NY sports call home. Derek Jeter is two hits shy of the 3000 mark after doubling in the first inning of last night’s game. The Yankees continue a four games series against the Tampa Bay Rays tonight. J. Hellickson (8-7, 3.21) of the Rays will be opposed by Freddy Garcia (7-6, 3.13) of the Yankees. The Rays knocked the Yankees out of first place last night in a 5-1 win. Mark Teixeira is the major offensive threat for the Yankees with 25 HRs and 65 RBIs.
